Siga Siga
Thats greek for slowly slowly (or jalli jalli as they say in the cypriot mountains). That's how I'm creeping towards my 3st loss. WI yesterday and lost 1 1/2lb again....grrrr, really wanted more. Was a bit dissapointed to be quiet honest. But oh well, a loss is a loss.
Went walking in the highlands again, did the Glen Ogle Trail this time, about a 10k treck. Was absoltutely gorgous and the weather was lovely.
Also went up to Duck Bay and reserved our wedding venue...hooray!!!!

Getting hitched....
Well, I am now officially a woman on a mission! I'm getting married next year and definetely do not want to look like a slob in my dress. Already been engaged since the end of last year, but we only have told the last few people a couple of weeks ago. It feels so much more real now. I'm already starting to look for venues. They do charge a fortune right enough lol.
But anyway, I've lost 3lb in my last WI and 1.5lb last week....hoooraayyy! Got my 2.5st award and I'm well on my way to my 3st award which I want to achieve by the end of April.
Been walking like a maddy the last week. Going to upload on my nike+, but my ipod had the wrong date in, so it looks like I walked in September rather than last week. But changed the date yesterday, so from next week on I'll publish my actual stats lol.
Easterweekend....going to be good, told H2B not to get me any chocolate. Hope he will comply. Of cours Mother in Law already dropped the evilness of chocolate off yesterday....grrrrr. God love her lol.....but I will stay strong....want another 2lb off next week. Had a day of rest yesterday, but if the weather is playing ball I'm back out walking tonight.....

Maintained
WI was ok, maintained as expected. Been really bad last weekend. We had a KFC on Friday due to Mr. B being home late and having to drop his dad off in the next town....and on Sunday we went for an Indian which was absolutely lovely and actually planned, but I guess having the KFC as well kinda kicked the syns up to high.
Oh well, back on track and determined to loose at least 2lb next week. Not having anything major planned for the weekend definetely helps lol. Actually wanted to go for a nice long walk this weekend, but the weather does not look like it wants to play ball. It was actually snowing at some point yesterday.
Did not have a good day yesterday at work. I think they were on a mission to drive me off my head. I could have murdered someone last night. Today is much better and I'm a lot more relaxed.
Groupleader told us about this online forum ivillage.co.uk. They have quiet a good SW community there. Had a look around and found some lovely recipes. Will definetely try some of them this weekend.

On track
WI last night and I've lost an amazing 3 1/2lb...I am just so pleased with this. It puts me to exactly 18st now. I guess all the hard workout this week paid off. The weather has been gorgeous so I've been out walking quiet bit.
Sunday we did 7.5k, Monday the weather wasn't great, Tuesday I did 5k and yesterday 3.5k. Quiet pround of that really. Did not go out today, my ankle is a bit sore from the climb on Friday. Hopefully it feels better tomorrow so I can go out again.
We are going out for an Indian on Sunday, but I've calculated it in, so my syns should be ok. Also planning our next walk for next weekend. Probably be doing about 7 or 8 miles. This weekend I'll do some gardening, that should keep me busy and hopefully will keep me from snacking lol.

Climbin a mountain....literally
Yes, I have literally climbed a mountain last Friday. A small mountain, but a mountain. Here are some stats:
Name: Ben A'an
Location: Scotland, The Trossachs
Height: 454m or 1488ft

We've been planning to go into the highlands for a while now for a good walk, but so far the weather has not been great. As we both were off for a few days we decided to finally do it. After some looking around on the internet we decided to tackle Ben A'an as it seemed to be not too hard to tackle.
Well, we packed our things and drove up. The drive itself was worth it, as the Trossachs are just beautiful, and I love Callander, it's a nice wee town. Anyway, it was easy enough to find. We started climbing on a trodden path up the mountain. The first bit is quiet steep and really took my breath away...well actually I was breathing hard for the whole climb lol.
It eased up a bit where it went straight for a bit before coming out of the woods (again literally lol). We met quiet a few people on the way and were told that there is one steep bit ahead of us and then it eases up.
And steep it got! There are some man-made steps, well not really steps, but stones put in there to counteract erosion. These steps are a killer! I thought at some point my lungs would explode lol. Anyway, we eventually managed to get to the top and it was definetely worth the effort. The views are absolutely spectacular. I will post some pictures once I've uploaded them.
The climb down was a lot easier but still strenous as the rocks are quiet slippery and you have to be very careful. But we eventually made it and were very pleased with ourselves.
It gives you such a great feeling of achievement. When you go to the gym and run on the treadmill you don't really get anywhere. But going for a walk in the highlands, or climbing a mountain definetely motivates.
We went into millets on Saturday to get us some gear for our next adventure. We will definetely keep this up during the weekends if the weather plays ball.
We actually went on a 7.5km walk yesterday morning. During weekdays I will continue to exercise on the WII Fit Board as going for a walk by myself is just not as much fun, and Mr. B works until 8.....

Lost again....
Well I'm happy to report that I've lost the 1 1/2lb that I put on at the last WI. Really pleased with that. Could have been more, but hey, I'm not complaining. I've lost what I gained and this week I will lose even more. So thats something positve to report.
I've also started to take Reductil again after being off it for a month. I really have been struggling as I've been a bottomless pit last week, I could have eaten half a cow lol. So far so good. Let's see how it goes.
Got an appointment with my GP again on Wednesday to have my montly check for the Thyroids and bloodpressure (this is done when taking Reductil). My stats for the Thyroids have been really good the last few months, hopefully they can adjust my med intake downwards a bit soon.

First gain...
Well here it is....unwanted, but predicted....by first gain: 1 1/2lb. I'm obviously not a happy bunny, but I've been bad last week and have not followed the plan one bit so I can only blame myself.
I actually made a fruitsalad to take to the airport and eat during flight....and what did I do as soon as I got to the airport? I bought myself a Panini and a bag of crisps....and some sweets :o(. But heck, I'm back on track now and I will loose again this week.
Been on the WII everyday again and if the weather stays nice, I'll go for a walk after work. I'm just really exhausted at the moment, I guess all the stress from last week is catching up with me now. But I'm in good spirits regarding my weight.
