Meeting day

I've went to my weigh in today and tadaaaaa, I've lost 3lb. It's absolutely great, and I wasn't struggling this week at all. I'm 17st 11lb now.

I wonder....my birthday is in the 1st week of September, actually exactly 10 weeks from today. To get down to 16st, I would need to loose 25lb....which is 2.5lb a week. It is a lot, but I am definetely going to give it a shot. Even if I don't make it, I will be well in the 16's, which would be a great achievement already.

My food today:
BF: Fruit
Lunch: Fritatta with Cheddar > HEA
Dinner: Leftover Fritatta
Snacks: home made Rochers, syn free crisps > 3 syns

Baby steps

I seem to be getting there, that change the way of thinking thingy...well at least thats what I'm thinking at the moment.....might not last long. Had a good day yesterday, but have to admit I had a cornflake cake when I got home....just a wee one though.

Today I'm on 'red'. My food intake for today:
BF: Wholemeal roll with Ham and LF mayo, Actimel > HEB, 2.5 syns
Lunch: Strawberries with Vanilla Muller Light
Dinner: Iceland steamed chicken with a wee bit of pasta > HEB
Snack: Fruit, Muller Light

I'm trying to stay string and not have any chocolate when I get home tonight. Tomorrow is my meeting, and I'm keeping all fingers crossed. According to the gym scale today, I've lost 3lb....hope the meeting scale says the same.

Still on

the wagon. I managed another day without falling off....had a wee bit of chocolate today, but nothing toooooo bad. Otherwise food today:

BF: some fruit
Lunch: 3 sl. WW bread with LF mayo and chicken > 2x HEB, 1.5 syns
Dinner: Penne Funghi w. LF Cheddar > HEA
Snack: Synfree crisps w. dip > 1 syn

The funghi recipe is out of the SW free food cook book. It's absolutely gorgeous.

I still have strawberries on my desk and also some cherries. Will keep them to snack on tomorrow. Didn't go to the gym this morning, my muscles are still sore. But will go back tomorrow morning.

Gym scales are great

Another weekend passed...and without major disasters! Friday night we went to the gym and afterwards I had some ovenchips and some chicken in breadcrumbs.

Saturday we went to do some shopping and had some subway (18 syns I've just found out). Afterwards we painted the kitchen, went to the inlaws and had a wee chinky at night.

Sunday we did some more painting, had a synfree lunch and at night went out where I had some mushrooms and some linguine with grilled chicken.

I'm on backshift all week, so I can actually prepare my dinner in the morning, which is quiet nice.

Food today:

BF: Actimel, Fruit and some Babybel > HEA, 1syn
Lunch: 3 sl WW bread with LF mayo and eggs > HEB, 1.5 syns
Dinner: Pasta Funghi with LF Cheddar

So all in all I think the weekend went ok, I have been to the gym every day since Friday and yesterday the scales were saying 17.11...woooohoooo!!!! But the scale in my meeting is probably differently aligned, so I'm not getting my hopes up too far....but certainly I'm going to keep all fingers crossed ;o)

Jumped back on

the wagon. After a few rather horrible days I've decided to start afresh. Cause, as Mr. Beaver said yesterday Little Pickers wear big knickers.....

Lunch: Omelette, Cucumber and Tomatos, with 2 sl of wholemeal bread > HEB and 0.5 syn

Got my meeting tonight, so I'll see what I have for dinner afterwards....

Willpower????

Wasn't I organised in the weekend? Didn't I have a plan of action? YES I DID!


Did anything come from it???? NO IT DIDNT!

Where do I start....Sunday night, Fathersday dinner.....Started off well with sauteed garlic mushrooms.....also had two slices of garlic bread with it....main course was good as well, Pasta with mozarella and some italian sausage. But then came dessert....2 scoops of toffe crunch ice cream on a meringue nest smothered with cream and butterscotch sauce! I have to admit that it was absolutely delicious!!!!!!!

But my misery continues....Monday I went to Ikea and when walking out I had a hotdog with some chips....and may I say, it was not worth the syns. Have been good for the remainder of the day.

But on comes Tuesday....another day off, had a dentist appointment in town at 10am, but when I got there they told me that they've made a mistake and they couldn't take me on until 1pm. Great, so I went to my bank, which was rather unsuccessful (applied for a current account, got declined, cause I've only been here 6 months), then went to Orange to get a mobile contract (got declined for the same reason) and then went to Greggs to get myself a Macaroni Pie! There, that started it all. On my way home I had a M&S good for you hoisin duck wrap with a bag of LF crisps, when I got home I had another bag of crisps and some chocolate. AAAAARRRRRGHHHHH!!!

It's just have been a bad couple of days, completely fell off the wagon. I have absolutely no motivation right now. I'm going to try to be good, but I got my meeting tomorrow and I just know that I gained......I feel sick and dissappointed with myself :o(((

Another Sunday...

Didn't have the filled jackets on friday night, had a stirfry instead which was fine as well. Just used the chicken as my second HEB.

Yesterday I was working all day, so I had the following:
BF: Fruit selection
Lunch: Pastasalad from Morrisons, Wholemeal roll with LF cheese > 1HEB, 1HEA and 5 syns for the salad
Dinner: 2 Jacket potato with Heinz Meanbeanz and cheese > 1HEA
Snack: A few crisps and a cornflakecake > 5 syns

Went to the gym after work, but only hit the pool, cause my knee is still a bit dodgy. But I guess better than just couching. But definetely hitting the gym again as of monday.

Today I am working again and we are going for an italian at DiMaggios tonight. Saved my syns for it this week, so I have 30 syns to spend there tonight :o))). My other foodplans for today are:
BF: Fruit and a Muller light
Lunch: Eggs on Toast, Cucumber and Tomato on the side

Will post the goodies I will have tonight by tomorrow. I've decided to be a good girl tho. Maybe have some breaded mushrooms as a starter and some Pasta as my main course. The mushrooms should be about 6 syns my SW leader told us. Quiet good actually, in our meeting on Thursday we had a talk about different things on the menu. She had a menu for all of us, and we went through everything to see where the hidden syns are....quiet afew surprises there actually.

Going to make my foodplan for next week now. Will post it later on and during the week see how much I was abled to stick to it.

Maintained my weight....

Went to my meeting last night and the scale didn't show any changes....well luckily. Staying the same is always better than gaining. I just have to be a good girl this week. And I've promised that to myself. I just want to get rid of all this weight. My foodjournal for today:

BF: 1 0% Actimel and an assortment of different fruits (Apple, Nectarine, Banana, Grapes)
Lunch: Sweetcorn with Mash and a toasted roll with Margarine HEB and 1syn
Dinner: Potato and Mushroom Jackets

I'll also make some lasagna crisps when I get home so I have something to nibble on. I'll have to plan ahead for the weekend as well, cause I am working Saturday and Sunday....hooray :o(.

Weekend

The weekend was so so......Saturday we had some TGI Fridays for lunch. Had pasta with grilled chicken and some mozarella sticks. Later that night I however had 2 glasses of wine, some cheese and a few crisps.

Sunday I have been a good girl all day, but at night we went to have a curry. So I highly doubt that I will be slimmer of the week this week. I'm trying to be good now, and the last couple of days have been ok, no major sins....well tomorrow will tell, how much I get punished....

Back to life...

Wellowell, I completely ditched this blog...shame on me! Well it's about time I pick it up again and note down my way to being slim.

As you can see, I completely fell off the wagon. Moving to a different country and all that, I had other things to focus on. But once I got settled here I joined Weightwatchers, and I nearly lost a stone, but fell off the wagon. Three weeks later I decided to give Slimming World a go. I've joint the beginning of May and on my weighin yesterday I hit my 1/2 stone target, so I'm a straight 18 stone now.

I know, not great, but it's a start...and I'm well determined....so hopefully this blog should come back to life.....
